If you are new to the playHQ registration process, please review this brief procedure.
To ensure you and your child’s profile and previous registration history is imported from the any previous registration systems, please where possible use the same Email address, First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and Gender used in previous years.
If this is not possible then please see the PlayHQ support page for further details about how to “claim” your profile.

Auskick Registration:
Hawthorn Citz's Auskick programme is run on Saturday mornings at Glenferrie Oval as Hawthorn Auskick.
Details on how to register will be made available in 2026.

Auskick
Hawthorn Citizens Auskick fees: $91.00
Under 8-10
Hawthorn Citizens Membership fees: $150.00, YJFL Fees and admin charge $167.70, total $317.70
Under 11 – Youth
Hawthorn Citizens Membership fees: $150.00, YJFL Fees and admin charge $198.75, total $348.75

Minimum player age & Season 2025 Age Groups:
To register to play for Citz Football, players must be born between 1st January 2008 and 30 April 2019 (excluding Auskick).

Auskick - Born before 1/1/2022
U8 – Born 01/01/2018 - 30/04/2019
U9 – Born 01/01/2017 - 31/12/2017
U10 – Born 01/01/2016 - 31/12/2016
U11 – Born 01/01/2015 - 31/12/2015
U12 – Born 01/01/2014 - 31/12/2014
U13 – Born 01/01/2013 - 31/12/2013
U14 – Born 01/01/2012 - 31/12/2012
U15 – Born 01/01/2011 - 31/12/2011
U16 – Born 01/01/2010 - 31/12/2010
U17/U18 – Born 01/01/2008 - 31/12/2009
Parent Volunteers:
If you wish to volunteer as a parent helper as a coach, team manager, committee member or in any other capacity, please also register yourself via PlayHQ to help the club maintain a record of your participation and important details such as Working With Children Checks.

Clothing and Merchandise
HCJFC is making some changes to the Clothing and Merchandise supply arrangements for Season 2026. We are currently finalising these arrangements. More information will be provided shortly
Match Day Clothing Requirements
The Club will continue to provide football jumpers.
Players must purchase their own football socks and shorts. Please note only YJFL approved game day clothing may be worn.
Citz Football Jumper (Provided by the Club).
Jumpers will distributed to players by Team managers on (or before) the start of the 2025 Season
Playing Shorts (YJFL approved suppliers)
Boys are required to have both brown (home games) and white (away games).
Girls only required brown shorts.
Playing Socks (YJFL approved suppliers)
Option to choose either long or short sock style.
Second Hand Uniform Shop
Citz will operate a second hand uniform shop in Season 2026.
A range of Citz game day clothing and merchandise will be available however stock is limited with product options and sizes subject to availability
Shop will “open” closer to start of the Season. Further details about Shop opening times will be provide in the new year
In the meantime, please contact the Club, if you would like to donate any Citz clothing that is in excellent condition but is no longer needed.
